The McMinn County Amateur Radio Club, Inc. serves the McMinn County area.
The club maintains a club station at the Athens EOC with club call KG4FZR.
Additional non-club stations are located at
the McMinn County 911 Center, Athens Regional Hospital and Woods Memorial Hospital.
Club meetings are the 2nd Monday night of each month

The MCARC club station also operates as “KG4FZR-7” on APRS with digipeater!
Look for our call and the “N” digi symbol in Athens Tennessee.
The club members are active in ARES, RACES, Skywarn, MARS and participates when requested in civic duties, such as JOTA for the Boy Scouts,
the Athens Christmas Parade, Watts Bar Nuclear Plant drills, as well as other activities.
The MCARC maintains a email list that we use to email club announcements, updates to website, for trade or sale items. It is run by HUMANS!
