Roll call: 23 people in attendance

President Mike Elkins: thank you to everyone who came to the chili supper

Treasure Alicia Parham: The treasure’s report was read and passed. 47 current paid members, 4 life members. 

Secretary Chan Patrick: Corrections or additions, passed. Old motions: motion was made to pay for Morning Fax if there is a price to put out info for the chili supper, Mike nominated Reed for Lifetime Membership, passed. Mike nominated Ginger (Matt’s dog) as a mascot/Lifetime Member, passed. Joe is going to build a frame for the propane tanks for the trailer, passed.

VP Bobby Muphey:  upcoming events: Dec 2nd Jimmy Liner Christmas Parade, meeting at middle schools the night of the parade, we will be helping coordinating the lining up of the vehicles in the parade, generators/lights would be appreciated, rain date is Dec 9th. Dec 9th is Christmas dinner at Western Sizzlin. Bobby asked if anyone wanted to take over the 2025 Hamfest, if not he will take it over again. Discussion was made on the previous budget and what prizes we gave this year. Discussion about food for the Hamfest will be a different budget and volunteers are needed. Motion was made for $1500 for budget for prizes for Hamfest (not including food), motion passed. Packet node (McMinn) is needing to find a new home of where we can put it up higher. Possibly put up at AUB, Starr Mtn or at a landscaping building at Hiwassee Building Supplies

Trustee David Baker: 820 repeater discussion was had if we wanted to expand the foot print of the repeater, still having interference at the ground level. 820 and 620 were both being tested and the 820 had a lot of clipping. Interfering with the radio will be investigated and possible finding a whole new location. Possibly reaching out to Dalton Communications because they also share the tower and might have an idea what the inference is and talk to Tom Trotter (Reed will be reaching out). 

Old business: Judy discussed the chili dinner and how well we did.  

New business: Susan read the envelope for the next activity from Kenny Witt. Net will be on 060 at 830-930 to check in. Nominations were made, elections were made, executive committee will be the same for 2025.
